The league is an extracurricular coed and adaptive activity for safety-certified student athletes in grades 6-12 on school-approved teams.

The USA Clay Target League is a non profit corporation and the nation's leading independent provider of clay target shooting sports to secondary and post secondary schools. The league's priorities are safety, fun, and marksmanship-in that order.

League participation has allowed students of all backgrounds and abilities to experience a safe, fun, community-oriented outdoor sport that they can participate in for the rest of their lives. Along with the friendships, skills and passion cultivated through the League, clay target athletes carry something even greater-our country's heritage. By adding a substantial number of new participants annually, the League is creating the next generation of shooting sports enthusiasts; the future of our outdoor recreation clubs, conservation efforts and so much more.
